My name is Katherine Van Acker. I am an award winning photojournalist and photo editor. My style of wedding photography is known as wedding photojournalism. I am based in the upper Hudson Valley in the state of New York. My regular wedding photography coverage area includes Albany and New York’s Capital Region, the Hudson Valley, the Catskills, Saratoga and the southern Adirondacks, the Berkshires in Massachusetts, southern Vermont and Connecticut’s Litchfield County and Sharon. I am also available for travel outside my regular coverage area.

I can capture the romance, emotion, and happiness of your wedding in candid and intimate detail. I preserve your moments as they happen, not setting up or recreating events.
